Julie Werner, PE, LEED AP
EXPERIENCE
Ms. Werner is an environmental engineer with 17 years of experience providing environmental compliance, planning, remediation and environmental program management for federal and private clients, nationwide. As a licensed professional engineer (PE) in the State of Washington, Julie leads Scout’s environmental engineering practice. Julie is also a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP) and is a trained ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Lead Auditor.
Her years of consulting experience encompass the following specialties: environmental regulatory compliance (program management, assessments, training assessors); air quality (NEPA, compliance, permitting); stormwater, wastewater, potable water (planning compliance, and design); remediation (planning, human health risk assessments, EE/CA’s and RI/FS); solid waste, hazardous waste, and universal waste (compliance and permitting); and facilities relocation planning and case studies.
Julie’s most recent experience includes preparing detailed air quality analysis for Scout-prepared Environmental Assessments (EAs), participating in environmental compliance projects as a senior environmental assessor/auditor overseeing all elements of the compliance assessment. She also authored remediation reports, environmental site assessments, and environmental program management work plans.
