Ryan Pingree, AICP, CEP, PMP
EXPERIENCE
Before creating Scout Environmental, Ryan worked for an international environmental consulting firm for nearly 17 years, where he excelled in his technical, managerial, and interpersonal skills.
Ryan has more than 22 years of environmental planning experience with an emphasis on effectively and proactively managing complex environmental projects for Department of Defense and private clients throughout the United States. He has managed more than 35 environmental planning projects for clients primarily in California, Washington, Hawaii, and Texas, all of which have been critical to addressing clients’ specific needs with training, construction, water resources, public safety, flood risk management, and renewable energy.
From his early days as a NEPA resource analyst right out of graduate school, Ryan eagerly sought and excelled at new responsibilities. Ryan is enthusiastic about managing NEPA projects for the U.S. military in support of their mission. He understands the vital role that having adequate facilities and training ranges here, in America, has on our ability to project force and assistance worldwide. Ryan applies his proven project and client-partnering skills to achieve project objectives on-time and on-budget. Parallel to his project management achievements, Ryan earned organizational management roles as an office manager, and most recently, business unit manager for an international consulting company’s Western region (7 offices and 100+ people).
Ryan is a proud Navy veteran, who responded to his internal “need to serve” and joined the U.S. Navy Reserve Direct Commission Officer Program in 2004. He served with distinction at several stations (notably at Combined Task Joint Task Force – Horn of Africa in Djibouti, Africa, in 2008) before his honorable discharge in 2013 as a Lieutenant.
